Dorset Tyre Services was established in 1986 by Ian Tyers. Ian has been working with truck tyres since he left school so his experience is vast. In 1986 Ian decided to start Dorset Tyre Services as a mobile breakdown service. Although Ian specialises in Truck / Coach / Plant tyres he also fits tyres for all types of vehicles. These include Wheelbarrows, ride-on mowers, cars, light commercial, small lorries, artic trucks, coaches, buses, JCBs and Earthmovers to name a few.
In 2008 Dorset Tyre Servcies expanded to 2 breakdown vehicles operating, this includes a 24 Hour Emergency Service. At present Dorset Tyre Services currently has 6 breakdown vans running to support the evergrowing demand to keep vehicles 'on the road'.
Due to this expansion this opened the door for Dorset Tyres Services to start to wholesale truck tyres. With the growing buying power that Dorset Tyre Services now has because of this expansion, we are able to offer Truck, Coach and Bus Tyres and an extremely competitive rate.
